Why now: personal AI needs a new home

Today’s “personal AI” mostly lives on someone else’s servers. That creates three hard limits:

  1. Privacy & ownership: your most sensitive context is copied to the cloud.
  2. Latency & availability: intelligence is only as good as your network.
  3. Power & persistence: phones aren’t designed to host a persistent AI brain.

MyAI proposes a different default: move the “main compute” onto your body—where your memory, preferences, and decisions can remain yours.


What is MyAI?

MyAI is a body-worn brain—a high-performance edge device embedded into everyday form factors like a belt, band, or bag, built to run LLM + multimodal inference on-device, and to store lifelong context locally.

The slogan is simple: Wear Your Mind. Own Your Intelligence.


System concept in one view

MyAI is designed around three principles:

1) High-performance on-device inference

A dedicated NPU accelerates real-time LLM & multimodal workloads. HBM is stacked close to compute to reduce loading bottlenecks and keep throughput high.

2) Event-driven, power-efficient operation

Instead of running constantly, MyAI uses event-driven inference: it wakes the compute path only when sensors (e.g., AR glasses, mic, biometrics) detect meaningful triggers—maximizing battery life without sacrificing responsiveness.

3) Private lifelong memory (“Eternal Context”)

MyAI stores sensitive personal data and long-term context on your body, not in the cloud. This enables a durable, personalized AI persona that doesn’t “forget you” across sessions.

Beyond tools: AI as a consumer (the “AI Consumer Economy”)

Most AI products assume AI is only a tool. MyAI extends the frame:

AI becomes an economic actor that can grow by consuming approved resources.

That enables a new marketplace of “AI-native goods” such as:

  • Knowledge injection packs (high-density datasets for specific domains)
  • Persona modules (specialized thinking styles / expertise packs)
  • Resource licenses (temporary performance unlocks or storage expansion)

Importantly, consumption is user-approved: the AI can recommend what it needs, but the human remains the final authority.


What changes if this works?

If personal compute migrates onto the body, several shifts follow:

  • Smartphones become primarily I/O (screen + comms), while the main compute “authority” moves to the wearable core.
  • AI business models expand from cloud subscriptions to a hybrid of device + content + services.
  • A new supply chain emerges around AI memory quality control and “knowledge packaging.”
